WCOED Director

Eric.jpgEric Romich is an Ohio State University Extension Educator for Community Economic Development located in Wyandot County, of the Erie Basin Extension Education and Research Area.  His areas of program specialization include Business Retention & Expansion (BR&E), Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) planning, renewable energy development, and land use planning. 

As an OSU Extension Educator, Eric also serves as the Director of the Wyandot County Office of Economic Development and Director of Wyandot County Regional Planning Commission.  Eric holds an MA in Sports Administration from Kent State University and a BA in Business Administration and Process Management from Franklin University.  In addition, he holds several certifications/memberships to include: Ohio Association of Extension Professionals, National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals, and North Central Ohio Regional Development Alliance.

Eric is a native of Wyandot County, Ohio and enjoys the opportunity to work with elected public officials and community leaders in the region to strengthen lives and communities.  He currently resides in Upper Sandusky, Ohio with his wife Angie and children Ava and Jacob.
